The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has agreed a four-year deal for Serbian coach Milovan Rajevac to stay on as Black Stars coach, a highly-placed source within the federation had told Ghanasoccernet.

GFA said the game, the first for both sides after the Word Cup finals in South Africa, would be played at the Soccer City Stadium in Johannesburg.

It said the Black Stars (Ghana) would use the friendly against Bafana Bafana (South Africa) as a build-up to the 2012 African Cup of Nations (CAN 2012) qualifying match in September against Swaziland.

Ghana will play Swaziland in their first group match in the southern African country on the first weekend of September.

"The game in the Rainbow Nation (South Africa) will also serve as a sign of appreciation for the wonderful support accorded Ghana during the World Cup, as the Black Stars return to a familiar ground," GFA said. Ghana reached the quarter-final of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

Ghana's Black Queens have qualified for the 7th Africa Women's Championship after they chalked a convincing 3-0 victory over their Senegalese counterparts this June at the Ohene Djan Stadium, Accra.

The Queens, regular participants at every edition of the biennial tournament since its inception in 1998, inched through with 4-0 on aggregate after managing a lone goal victory in the first leg encounter in Dakar in May.

Goals from Portia Boakye, Diana Ankomah and Florence Okoe was all the Queens needed to confirm their place at the seventh edition of the tournament that pits together the continent's elite women's teams. It was a well deserved victory for the Black Queens who outplayed their Senegalese guests in every aspect of the game.
