Zambia’s Lukundu Nalungwe is the current winner of Mnet Face of Africa. She recounts her journey to success and the joy of being Mnet Face of Africa season eight to Ada Onyema.

Lukundu Nalungwe’s attitude towards life is explained by a popular motivational maxim, “you can get it if you really want it.” That attitude has now propelled Nalungwe to the top. Last week, she emerged the winner of Season Eight of the Mnet Face of Africa show.

Top British fashion designer Alexander McQueen, who dressed stars from Sarah Jessica Parker to Rihanna to Nicole Kidman in bold shapes and colors, was found dead in his home here Thursday, a spokesman for his company said.

Though his reputation for controversy earned him the titles "enfant terrible" and "the hooligan of English fashion," British Vogue Editor Alexandra Shulman said his work "influenced a whole generation of designers.

Ghana Fashion Weekend 2009. Photo: ghanafashionweekend.comGhana’s most respected and largest modeling agency, Exopa Model Agency International has officially launched this year’s “Ghana Fashion Weekend 2009”.

The 4-day event will be a mixture of Modeling Shows and Fashion Exhibitions, which will be held at the Accra International Conference Centre, Accra Ghana from 1st July - 4th July, 2009.

Ghana Fashion Weekend is under the theme: “Harnessing Creative Talents within Africa”.
