Fiila 89.3 FM Brunch Time host DJ Carlos last Saturday, May 1, 2010, proved he's Tamale's (Northern region of Ghana) funniest when he held actor/comedian extra-ordinare, Agya Koo to his own game in front of a 4,500 audience at the Tamale Sports Stadium in a show dubbed ‘Who is Who of Comedy in the North 2010’.

While DJ Carlos made an astounding stage entry with three extremely short guys whisking him on stage amidst beatings; Agya Koo's entry was quite ordinary with his signature painted face.

As V-Day celebrations draw closer, organisers are spending much time trying to correct public perceptions about the event being a promoter of profanity.

Dudu Communications, the V-Day celebrations in Ghana organisers at a recent press conference dismissed speculations that the event is of no importance to the Ghanaian and that it is a day of profanity.

The criticisms came at a time when people thought it was aimed at just talking about the female reproductive organ, ‘Vagina’, and also compounding it was the perception that leading figures; Naa Ashorkor Mensah-Doku and Lydia Forson will openly display their ‘vagina’ in public.

Photo: Ghana Music.comOnly a handful of artistes had come on board for the benefit concert for Haiti scheduled for the Alliance Francaise on Saturday, January 23 by the middle of last week, but the number had swelled considerably by the end of the week and the organisers are now politely turning some of them down.

Haiti was hit by a huge earthquake last week. The international community has united to offer relief and some concerned outfits and individuals in Ghana have also decided to raise cash and awareness about the situation in Haiti at a benefit night which will feature music performances, messages and film clips on the Caribbean nation.
