An officer of the Narcotics Control Board (NACOB) yesterday told the Accra Fast Track High Court that he took both still and video pictures when a search was being conducted in the bag of Ibrahim Sima, the Chief Executive of the Exopa Modelling Agency.

According to the officer, during the search, three tubers of yam were found to have been cut and resealed after they had been stuffed with cocaine.

The government has decided to take legal action against some former public office holders in connection with the alleged malfeasance in the operations of Ghana International Airlines Limited (GIAL).

A reliable source close to the office of the Attorney-General and Ministry of Justice has hinted The New Crusading Guide that nine people had been listed to write their caution statements for the necessary processing to be done.

Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has called for more private sector participation in the educational sector to meet the demands of population growth and human resource development in the country.

He decried the deplorable conditions in public universities and stressed that public-private partnership would help lessen the stress most teachers and students had to endure in institutions of higher learning.
