The Asanteman Association of NY recently organized the inauguration ceremony of Daasebre Anane Amponsah, New York Asantefuohene, Nana Abena Manu, the new NY Asantefuohemaa and Nana Afua Kobi. Many attendees also witnessed the swearing in ceremony by the sub-chiefs. Among the dignitaries in attendance were executive members of NCOGA, The Chairman of the Board of Directors, NCOGA, Dr. Benjamin Doodo, other chiefs and representatives of many Associations across America and invited guests.

Recently, the second annual Hiplife festival also took place in London, UK and organized by Allordia Promotions, Emelio of Westcoakuk.com and Abrantee.com. In attendance were Abrewa Nana, Castro, Boli, Screw Face, Kwabena Kwabena, A-Plus, Tic Tac and new acts like FBS & Roman Phadaz. The event happened at the Coronet, Elephant & Castle. The hosts were Bola Ray, Eddie (Africa's funny MC) and sexy Dentaa.
