News from Los Angeles Hollywood indicates that Woody and his pals from the animated movie Toy Story have elbowed aside the green ogre (from Shreck), with Disney/Pixar's ''Toy Story 3'' climbing above Paramount/DreamWorks' ''Shreck'' to become the top-grossing animated film worldwide.

Walt Disney Studios announced that "Toy Story" has taken in $920 million at the global box office, topping "Shrek's" $919.8 million. Globally, it's Disney's fourth-highest-grossing film, trailing two of the installments in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise and Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland ."

The first "Iron Man" boasted a not-so-secret weapon in Robert Downey Jr. reveling in his bad-boy rep as the maverick inventor-industrialist Tony Stark. A combination of Bill Gates, Howard Hughes and Hugh Hefner, Stark had more than his share of character flaws for a superhero. Unlike Bruce Wayne, he couldn't keep his heroics to himself, and unlike Clark Kent, he knew how to party.

Beginning part two in triumphal mode as the star attraction at the Stark Expo, Tony remains a loose cannon, even if he prefers to think of himself as a human shield or "an enhanced prosthetic" as he tells the Senate committee charged with reminding Iron Man of his patriotic duty.

Guru has passed away yesterday morning (April 19) after a long battle with cancer.

According to Solar, Guru suffered from the malicious illness for over a year and after numerous special treatments under the supervision of medical specialists failed, the legendary MC succumbed to the disease. Guru always tried to keep this harrowing diagnosis in private but in early 2010 he had to admit himself to hospital due to serious effects caused by the disease.

The foul-mouthed crime-fighters of "Kick-Ass" faced some unexpected competition this weekend in the form of "How to Train Your Dragon." DreamWorks Animation's 3-D family film surprised box-office watchers by floating to the top of the charts on Sunday.
