The striking Force Unit of the Ashanti Regional Police Command last Thursday arrested two men for allegedly stealing human skull from the Tafo public cemetery.

A statement signed by Police Public Relations Officer, Inspector Mohamed Tanko, said the suspects, Kofi Annor Boakye, 25, and Kwaku Frimpong, 24, indicated that they were sending the skull to Sefwi for ritual purposes to enable them become rich.

The statement said the suspects were spotted around 2000 hours that day by residents of the area who arrested them.

They have been charged with conspiracy to steal and are in police custody whilst investigations continue, the statement indicated.
