Jerry Ayikwei Abbey: First Anniversary Remembrance
Loading ...Jeremy Aykiwei to family and Rufus to friends, this great companion and brother left us far too soon. Like an unappreciated individual whose value is taken for granted until he is no longer available, we did not know what we had until you left us suddenly a year ago.
Friends say that a gathering was not complete unless Ayikwei showed up and added his free and gregarious spirit to the occasion. Jeremy was very intelligent and a quick study who would quickly acclimate and thrive in any situation in which he found himself.
He therefore made many friends in Ghana and in the US. When looking for the best imitator, Jerry was summoned and he would step up and deliver a side-splitting and accurate of the impression of the real candidate.
Those of us family members did not know the quality of the gem we had until Jerry left us. He was kind to a fault and would give you the shirt off his back. Many of us have often wondered why one so bright is snatched from us at such a young age.
Try as we may, we will probably not know why and so we turn it over to the Lord and hope that Jerry is now resting in His forgiving arms.
So Jerry on this one year anniversary of your passing, we hope and pray that you are resting in peace and know that you are sorely missed by all your friends and Family.
