According to Kweku, the single would be fully “cooked” by mid November and urged his aficionados to watch out for ‘surprises’ in the music industry. However, he noted that the whole album is expected to be ready by Easter, next year.

“The album would be dropping somewhere in Easter. The first single would be out around mid November, during X’mas. You know, there will be a surprise,” he said in an interview with Beatwaves, when he visited the offices of your authoritative DAILY GUIDE last week Friday.

The BBAII star named his brand of music as higher life, explaining, “Our ancestors gave us highlife, which was the legacy they left for us so we have to continue it to another level - a higher level of course - and that is the reason why I describe my music as higher life music.” He described his brand of music as poetical and comical, written and sung in English, Twi and Pidgin.

Classifying it as a multi platinum selling album, he said he was looking forward to criss-crossing the international market and winning scores of awards. “It is basically a drop of multi-platinum selling album to win some Grammies, KORA awards and MOBOs and put Ghana on the map properly. This is one of my biggest dreams now,” said Kweku.

The star disclosed also that he was working on a movie he has titled “The Mandela Movie”. He said he would be traveling to South Africa to meet the former president of that country concerning the movie.

Exuding confidence, “It will be the biggest thing that the world would ever see and the biggest to come out of Africa.” When things work out well for him, especially with the album, Kweku disclosed that he would organize charity shows and bring artistes all over Africa and the world together to support the underprivileged in society.
